Deactivating or Removing a Property
Pausing or removing a property

There are two options for taking a property off the market: pausing (temporary) or deactivating (permanent).
Pausing a property
If you need a temporary break:
1. Open Messages in the sidebar 2. Send a message to the Parcel team explaining: - Which property you want to pause - The dates you want it paused (or if it is indefinite) - Whether existing bookings should be honored or cancelled
We will coordinate with any affected guests and update the listing status.
Permanently removing a property
If you want to end your management agreement:
1. Open Messages and let us know you would like to remove the property 2. We will discuss any outstanding bookings, cleaning, or financial items 3. Once all obligations are settled, we will deactivate the listing 4. Your historical data (payouts, bookings, documents) remains accessible in your portal
Important notes
- Outstanding bookings: We cannot immediately deactivate a property with confirmed future bookings. These need to be honored or properly cancelled with guest communication.
- Financial settlement: Any pending payouts will be processed on the next regular payout cycle.
- Your agreement: Review your host agreement for any notice period requirements.
